Jeremy Morin Admitted To Hospital

Jeremy Morin left the game Tuesday and was taken to Grant hospital with an elevated heartbeat.

Morin has since been released, but was placed on IR and won’t be able to play for a week or so.  It’s unclear whether or not he has ever had this happen to him in the past.

Morin has been in 31 games this year and tallied 3 points.

CBJ fans remember very clearly what happened last season with Rich Peverley, who had a severe cardiac event on the bench after a shift.  Pevs had to be resuscitated just a few feet away from the ice.  Very scary for him, and his teammates.  Peverley is still with the Dallas Stars, but hasn’t played a game this season.

I hope for Jeremy that this is one time thing.  Heart issues are nothing to mess with.  Get Well Soon
