The 2013-14 CBJ TV schedule is out, and its Beautiful!

The 2013-14 CBJ TV schedule is out…And it makes me very happy!  For one, only 13 of the games will be played outside of the Eastern time zone.  Which means very little time at my office the next day will be spent drinking gallons of coffee and struggling to stay awake.  Compared to the 29 games played West during the last full season, watching the games this year will be amazing.

Fox Sports Ohio will have a total of 80 games this season,  40 home and 40 away.  NBC Sports Network will have a pair of games, Dec 9 at  the Penguins, and March 25th, a home game vs THTUN aka the Detroit Red Wings.

The Jackets will continue to showcase the talents of Jeff Rimer as the play-by-play man.  Dapper Bill Davidge will continue to serve as the Color analyst, and will now have Dave Maetzold as the new in rink reporter.  And last but not least, fan favorite Jody Shelley will help out with Fox Sports Ohio’s coverage of the CBJ.

The CBJ move to the East as a part of the all new Metropolitan division is finally happening.  More games earlier in the night, more games on TV, and more exposure for our fans and players.  I continue to be excited about this upcoming season, and cant wait to watch the games on Fox Sports Ohio, of course only in “sparkling high definition”, as described by Jeff Rimer.  Tune in!
