Boone Jenner, Oshawa Generals(OHL)
Last Week Stats:4GP 2-4-6 +1 4PIM
Boone was one of the busiest CBJ prospects last week playing in four games going 3-0-0-1. Jenner started the week scoring in back to back wins earning first and second star honors. Then Boone had back to back two assists games giving him a five game point streak(2-5-7) and has points in seven of his last eight scoring 12 in that span(5-7-12). Archibald picked up an assist in the team’s loss to Sarnia assisting on the fresh from the Blackhawks Brandon Saad’s first of the season. The next night Brandon may have scored the easiest/goofiest goal of his career. 55 seconds into the game Brandon dumped it into the Niagara end and when the IceDogs goalie went out to play it the puck it took a funny bounce off the side board and went into the empty net.
Lukas Sedlak, Chicoutimi Sagueneens(QMJHL)
Last Week Stats:2GP 0-1-1 -1 4PIM
I hope its not but this may be the last update on Lukas Sedlak for awhile because Sedlak suffered an injury in the Sags win over Gatineau but according to this article the next night in Victoriaville Sedlak was seen walking with crutches. Plus Chicoutimi’s play by play guy tweeted this(translated) “Bad news for Sags: Lukas Sedlak was injured ankle and will miss the game tonight. Maybe a broken …”. Sedlak had a assist in the team’s win over Baie-Comeau.
Petr Straka, Rimouski Oceanic(QMJHL)
Last Week Stats:2GP 0-1-1 -1 5PIM
Petr Straka and the Oceanic hosted the Baie-Comeau Drakkar last week for a back to back with the teams earning split. As it always appears during a back to back the second game is always chippier. In the second game Straka had a assist but also got in the second fight of his career. Straka started a second fight after one had already started earning him a game misconduct.

Last Week Stats:2GP 1-1 .829Sv% 3.00GAA
Corbeil played in two of the Sea Dogs three games this week getting his first night off since returning from Columbus but the five goals he allowed against Gatineau may have been a factor as well. The game Corbeil didnt start was a Sea Dogs win but the next night Coach Gerard Gallant went back to the big guy(that taught us about #tallguyproblems) Corbeil stopped 14 of the 15 shots he faced and was named second star. Corbeil’s 2.61 GAA is third among QMJHL goalies and his seven wins are tied for tops in the league.
Michael Chaput, Shawinigan Cataractes(QMJHL)

Chaput is in the midst of a six game point streak picking up 3-3-6 in that span. Chaput picked up three assists this week as the Cats went 0-1-1-0. Chaput picked up his fourth multi-point game of the season in a 3-2 overtime loss. While the Cats may be struggling Chaput got some good news as Shawinigan acquired Chaput’s old Lewiston MAINEiacs teammate and Islanders draft pick Kirill Kabanov who was reportedly on his way to Europe before he was acquired.
Austin Madaisky, Kamloops Blazers(WHL)
Last Week Stats:4GP 0-3-3 +3 2PIM
Madaisky started the week adding to his career high six game point streak scoring 10 points in that span to put him among the WHL defensive scoring leaders. After scoring in six straight Madaisky didnt score in the teams last two games this week picking up 3 assists. After missing the playoffs last year The Blazers sit atop the B.C. Division just two points ahead of Victoria. Madaisky is tied for fourth in the WHL among defenseman.

Mike Reilly is still off to his great start in the BCHL scoring in eight of his first nine games picking up 5-6-11. This week the Vees went 2-0 outscoring opponents 14-5, the Vees are the BCHL’s highest scoring team scoring 53 goals in only nine games averaging 5.89 goals a game. Mike had a goal and a assist on the weekend and sits second among BCHL defensemen. Penticton is tops in the Interior Conference just a point up on three time defending champion Vernon.

After sitting for five straight games Anton Forsberg found his way back to the MODO net. In his first start since September 29 Anton stopped 36 of the 37 shots he faced in a 3-1 win over Lulea.
