The Jackets take on the Canucks at home

Coming off the Olympic break, the Columbus Blue Jackets and Vancouver Canucks will hook-up in a tilt featuring two Western Conference teams. Columbus will come into this game with a 25-28-10 record, for 60 total points. That places them in 14th place, nine points behind eighth seeded Calgary. Vancouver currently holds the three seed in the Western Conference play-off picture, tied with Calgary atop the Northwest Division.
This game will be the first of a six game road trip for the Canucks, as they re-group from hosting the Olympic Hockey Tournament. The Canucks are led in scoring by Henrik Sedin with 80 total points. Sedin has scored 25 goals, and dished out 55 assists on the season. Between the pipes Olympic gold medal winning goaltender Roberto Luongo will look to improve upon his 2.35GAA.
Columbus is led in scoring by Rick Nash. Nash, also an Olympic gold medal winner has scored 29 goals and dished out 28 assists. The Blue Jackets have been out scored on the season 203-166. Columbus is 15-10-6 when playing at home.
