CBJ Injury Report 12/19/13 – Are You Sure You Want To Look?

The Columbus Blue Jackets Injury list is getting longer by the day!  At this point, fans just sit back and wait for the next tweet or Facebook post from the Columbus Blue Jackets to tell us who is expected to join this list.  So to make this short, sweet and simple! Lets get to the point shall we.

Sergei Bobrovsky : Bob is out with a groin injury, but has started to skate on his own in the last couple of days!  That’s a good sign!  Please get well fast Sergei!

Jared Boll : As we all know by now, Jared is going to miss 3-4 months after having ankle surgery.  Although some saw this as a blow, the team actually has a winning record since he went down in November.  That no disrespect to him by any means, in fact, I’m not sure what it means, but there ya have it!

Dalton Prout : He was injured in the game vs the Jets with an “Upper Body Injury”.  The team placed him on IR, not sure how long hes going to be out.  We need him back!

James Wisniewski : Wiz is skating again and is expected to be back for Saturdays game against the Flyers.  He’s been out since Dec 7 with an “Upper Body Injury”

Derek Mackenzie : Derek was also injured in the game vs the Jets with a “lower body injury”.  He’s listed as day to day, but no word on will he’ll be back.

Curtis McElhinney : The Mac Daddy is expected to start tonight against the Flyers.  Curtis had a “lower body injury” that kept him out for a couple games.

Marion Gaborik : He’s been out since November 15 with a sprained left knee.  He’s expected to play on Saturday against the Flyers.  It’s going to be interesting to see how he plays.

Nathan Horton : Has been out due to shoulder surgery.  Rumor is that he should be back at the start of January.  Everyone is waiting patiently.  Please put on that sweater Nathan, we need you!

As you can see, every time someone gets healthy, there is another injury.  Lets hope this trend stops soon.  I’m not going to keep beating this dead horse.  I don’t like to talk about ouchies!
